Riccobono's Peppermill is located in the heart of Fat City
(Metairie) and has held an esteemed place in the restaurant scene for decades. The Peppermill features many traditional Italian dishes with recipes that have been passed down through the generations. Patrons can enjoy outstanding dishes from the grill, creative Louisiana seafood
fare and an ever changing array of daily specials.
In addition to lunch and dinner, early-risers can enjoy one of the most extensive breakfast menus in the area. Choices range from Crabcake Benedict with brabant potatoes, Strawberry Waffles and the traditional Scrambled Eggs and Housemade Buttermilk biscuits.
Riccobono’s Peppermill is truly the place for all tastes.

The Riccobono family has been hosting the people of the Greater New Orleans area since the 1920's. Today,
Riccobono's Peppermill is owned by the
three daughters, Nettie, Clarita &
Teresa and the Riccobono's only son,
Vincent. Vincent is
currently managing the day-to-day
operations for the family.
Vincent's grandfather was the original owner of the Pearl, the Central Business District oyster bar that in earlier times doubled as a New York-style delicatessen. The restaurant still exists, but under different ownership.
That same grandfather partnered with Vincent's father, Joseph Riccobono, to open Rick's Pancake Cottage on Canal Street. These were followed by a small local chain of steakhouses called Buck 49, many of which in time fell into the hands of various family members.
Joseph and Josie
Riccobono's, opened The Peppermill in 1977 to offer patrons an upscale dining experience.
